Hopefully? Well that's interesting… Celi blinked, thinking. So Dahila isn't violent but has periods of time where she can't control herself? Or perhaps I'm being too biased… maybe she can't control her power very well at all. Or she might be bipolar which is slightly different… but if she barely winces than I doubt it's as simple as that. Either way, if pressured she could be dangerous."That's rather unfortunate; we're about to play a game for our lives," she muttered, not realizing that she was speaking aloud and continued thinking. Or, she might just have fits at any time. It doesn't have to be when she's pressured. But that's more likely… no, no bias, just because that's the case for me doesn't make it… hm. Well, regardless, I doubt I'll know unless it happens. So… basically just be on my guard from now on. Which I should already be doing after Satan Claus's announcement. Jeez, I'm getting slow. Celi shook her head and gave a humorless smile in Dahila's direction, her face and tone expressionless. "Your opinion on whether or not it is hopeful that I will die will most likely change, seeing as you seem to be close to Aaera. This is unavoidable so you might as well start taking everything I say in a negative light from now on. It'd just be easier for everyone. Now! Are Dahila and Cyron the only newcomers that we can see so far? Traditionally it's been in threes, but there's really nothing traditional about this." ((Um… I just realized that that's a lot of thoughts… is that ok? Sorry, I'm used to writing long stories with thoughts included, which helps clarify stuffs, so… if that's not ok, I can cease doing that. ))

((Thoughts aren't a problem. ?)) Dahlia shrugged. "Aaera is nice and I love her as if she were my older sister. That doesn't mean I agree with her always." She rolled her eyes as if this were obvious before addressing the other statement. "I didn't hear anyone else moving, but I thought we were all newcomers to this place."

((Oh, he did? Sorry, I didn't realize. But yeah, she does still need a bio anyway.))
"That is correct. However, all but you and the turquoise one are familiar with each other already over the course of about a day or so. I don't care much to check the time, nor do I have means of doing so."
Cyron pulled out the clock-like thing again. "It's been... nearly a day for you," he said, watching it and looking back up at Damon. "You spent almost one entire day in the last world that you were on besides this one."
Damon turned and faced him sharply. "How do you know that?"
"Clime's moonticker," Cyron replied, pointing to one of the four hands on the clock, one that had a crescent shape on the end. "It pointed to the jag, which means about a day in this case."

Dahlia nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. Anyway, what are we doing here? Is something going to happen? I'm booooored..." She sighed before proceeding to bounce on her toes to distract herself from boredom.

Damon, who was still looking quite perplexed from the clock-thing that Cyron was now putting away, said, "Yes, Satan Claus is going to make us take on some deadly challenges, a pass-fail type thing, I believe, in which 'fail' just means 'die'."
Looking extremely disturbed by this new information, Cyron sat down and curled up into a ball. Damon pretended to stare at him with an expression of great disapproval.

Celi raised her eyebrow at Cyron. "You know, I mentioned that several times earlier. Were you not listening at all? And that is certainly an interesting watch. Also, Dahila, don't say you're bored. If you do, we'll all get killed," Celi smirked, exhaling a breath of laughter.

Dahlia nodded in understanding. At the word die, her expression changed for a split second. It almost seemed like a sort of smirk. However, she shook it off I'n a split second and knelt beside Cyron. "It'll be okay. The big kids will watch out for us." She sat down, swishing her ponytails and fluttering her wings.

That's interesting. Does she not have any powers…? Or did she not have any in the old world? "Well, I should hope that you would have some powers. I certainly am not going to risk my life for yours and we're about to be almost killed several times. So…" She trailed off, seriously wondering how Dahila could put so much trust in those she had never met before. Other than Aaera, obviously.

Dahlia grinned, looking up at Celi. "Oh, I have powers alright. I just thought that if Cyron was scared, I didn't want him to be embarassed, too. Besides..." Her grin faded to a sad half-smile. "With great power comes utter hell." She was silent for a moment before continuing as though she hadn't said anything. "Anyway, I can fight and I'm not expecting you to watch out for me. I just expect you to watch out for Cyron 'cause he's scared. You have to watch out for me in a different sense. Watch out because I might kill you." As she said this, a tear fell from her golden eye.

Cyron stood up. "Clime's not a watch," he said to Celi, looking much calmer. "...I was just feeling rather upset that I have to be involved in something where people have to die. I have powers, too, miss, but they're working rather differently. I could normally summon and move large amounts of ice, as well as Princh, but currently it seems to be taking the form of a normal Master Class Summoner's powers. It isn't quite what I'm used to, as I doubt I'd be able to do as much with it as I could do as a Hero Class Ice Mage, but it'll do well enough for whatever's going to happen, I should hope."

Dahlia smiled, jumping to her feet. "Oh boy! Okay, so we all have magics. When do we start?" She started bouncing around in circles impatiently.

"Please don't act dramatic and expect me to console you. And I know that with power comes a price. Now, can we focus on preparing for the upcoming hell?" Celi rolled her eyes. "And don't be so presumptuous as to expect me to do anything. We don't even come from the same universe. If he's scared, good; he understands. It's probably better than Popo who, thank god, isn't awake yet. Once this game starts, he won't have time to be scared, so it'll be fine," Celi rolled her eyes and whipped our her knife, sharpening it. She looked around the cave for potential back-up weapons for her back-up weapon and pocketed a few sharpish stones.

Satan Claus had fallen asleep at his microphone again. After he had one of his servant elves fill him in on the curremt situation, Satan Claus began responding to everything at once. "As you seem to have figured out, the planet you were on before- La Trope in the natives' language, Aingok in ours- had an effect on your powers. It changed some and weakened others. That is why," he added,"We waited for your new friends to arrive there before we abduc- rather, selected you all for competition. "In fact, we randomly chose a planet to gather a sample competitor from. This person was your Dahila creature. After we preformed some surveys and experiments on her, we wiped her memories, knocked her out, and waited for that watch guy to come before we transported you here. "Finally, not to be helpful or anything, but your watchythingy is set to recognize the days of your planet, isn't it? Since La Trope is in another universe, time flows differently there. For the first three to arrive, it would have been about thirty hours. As a side effect of the new magical atmosphere, typical body functions were represed, but should resume realatively soon." Satan concluded his lecture on the fine points of parallel universes with a sniffle. ((A sentence you will here nowhere else.))
Ailm brought up another question. "You mentioned the natives of La Trope. We haven't met anything intellegent yet. Are there any still alive?"
"I've helped you enough." Satan Claus was clearly a bit annoyed. "Figure the rest out yourself. "Now are we done with the poorly timed plot development? I NEED TO SEE DEAD PEOPLE SOON OR I WILL GO CRAZY."

((That is the best sentence, Andrew. But here? Really?)) "You need to see dead people? Well, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed, in my case at least. I do not intend on dying. And since you brought us together, will you teleport us back to our home worlds if we win?" Celi asked, holding her knife up, a glint in her black eyes.

Dahlia stuck her tongue out at Celi. "I don't want you to console me. I'm seven, but I don't give a gryffin dropping if you feel bad for me. I don't need that and I've never needed that. I wasn't being dramatic. I apologize if showing my emotions in your presence is offensive where you come from. I'm not familiar with your species' habits and mannerisms or etiquette; I only know mine and those of gryffoids and the fauna and flora of my native planet. From this point on, I will cease showing any variation of common emotion besides anger or annoyance, as you seem to do constantly while in the company of others. Instead, I'll let you and everyone else think that I feel nothing and that's the reason why I flip out at turned backs, in the dark, at mentions of death or destruction, in extreme chaos, in extreme calm, and in a whole bunch of other situations or phenomena, and try to kill people. Sure, why not? Just to show you how little I care if you console me or not, I'll BE you. How does that sound?" She then shrugged, decidedly moving on, and focused on the approaching problem. "So we have to kill each other, basically?" Her face appeared sad yet unsurprised, but her eyes flashed dangerously and an unnaturally sharp canine was just visible above her bottom lip, though not as sharp as it could be. "I really don't like killing people, but Flame needs Ice, so I'm getting Flame back home." She hugged Aaera, whose eyes were damp, and grinned.

"… I knew you wouldn't like me. I simply thought that, generally, people are supposed to console each other when they're sad. I'm just saying that I won't do that, so don't get your expectations up." Celi rolled her eyes. "And of course we don't have to kill each other. Did you not listen to Satan Claus? He said we work together unless we don't. So if you want to kill us, then go ahead. From what you said earlier, though, I don't think you do."

"I never said I didn't like you. I said I'd uphold your customs. It wasn't sarcasm. I just think you're dumb. And what kind of competition is it, then? And, I'm seven. You think I was listening?" She rolled her eyes in annoyance, flouncing away a couple feet.

"That's not customs, that's just her," Damon said, staring at the pair of them with a look of slight annoyance and incredulity. "Most of us here do not feel that to be necessary of you, and I believe it would be considerably simpler to keep your own customs up rather than attempting to fit in with one that is unfamiliar with you."

Dahlia turned to Damon and grinned. "Alrighty! Thanks, that's a good idea!" She does a random flip for no apparent reason.

… Why would she even try to be similar to me anyway? There's no point. No one wants to be like me. Celi sighed. "Do whatever you want; I don't care. There is absolutely no reason for you to try an imitate me, though."
