FEAR ME FOR I AM GOD! Actually, I'm just the mod, but yeah... I control the stuff that goes on in the roleplay forum.
Rules. Okay.
1. No -ahem- adult shenanigans. Just putting that out there.
2. Censor your language. Frankly, my dears, I don't give a darn whether your character is the inventor of all swear words, and I doubt Andrew cares much for the language.
3. Be polite. I admit that in a roleplay, it can be easy to let etiquette go. Please try.
Instructions
1. When you want to start a roleplay (I ignored this rule when making my first post in my giddiness, sorry), title it "RP:" and then either the fandom or "Original." Example: RP: Ouran High School Host Club.
2. In your starter post, state the genre (romance, action, school life, etc), setting(if original), number of people you will allow, and your character. In a fandom RP, this will be a canon character or fan-made. In an original RP, this will, of course, be your own character.
3. Also include a starter: what your character is doing at the beginning of the RP.
4. I prefer a "literate" style RP, in which quotation marks and PROPER GRAMMAR are used. Present tense is nice.
5. If there is romance, specify the type. Yaoi (boys with boys), hetero (boys with girls), and yuri (girls with girls). Remember that this can't go further than kissing and implications.
Example of a good starter:
Subject: RP: Ouran HSHC
Genre: Any, romance preferred (yaoi or hetero)
People allowed: 6, not including me (hosts ^_^)
Dibs on Haruhi. [In an original RP, you would describe the character.]
Haruhi waves to the last girl leaving the music room. She turns to the rest of the hosts.
See? I know I'm being OCD, I just prefer a specific format and it's easier for whoever uses this.
Et maintenant, mes amis, allez et jouez! (And now, my friends, go and play!)
